We partnered with BRG in New York, Chicago and Sao Paulo to develop workplace solutions that align the physical environment with the firm’s operational aspirations. Our multi-disciplinary teams then translated strategy into high performance spaces through design, project management and delivery.

These findings called for visibility in high-profile real-estate and a meticulous balance of assigned workstations, hoteling space and collaborative areas. In New York, we achieved a 20% reduction in private offices, shifting the focus to open workstations organized into “neighborhoods” positioned along the window wall to maximize daylight penetration.

The design of the Chicago office leverages the same strategy and references local architecture through cues like limestone floor detailing. Staff and visitors are greeted by a wood ceiling feature that leads them through the space and onto unobstructed views of Lake Michigan and the cityscape.

In Sao Paulo, we used the standards and processes developed in the US locations and adapted them to the local context to provide yet another hub that meets local needs, but provides continuity on a global scale. All locations borrow from hospitality concepts and incorporate working fireplaces, luxurious fabrics and plush seating to telegraph BRG’s global leadership position.
